RUSALKA

Performed at Glyndebourne Festival (2009-2011), Slovenia Opera, Balet Ljubljana Opera 2011, Glyndebourne on Tour 2013, Huston Grand Opera 2016

Dvořák’s Rusalka is submersed in poetry, romance and lyricism which flow through the entire opera, from Rusalka’s radiant song to the moon aria in Act 1, to the heart-wrenching closing duet in which the doomed lovers sink beneath the moonlit waters of the lake.
